When I put the MamaJamba in porch mode I rarely put both front side corners up. I like the front side head end up and open, and the foot end lower and tight, unless it's going to rain, in which case I reverse it, foot in porch and head down tight for better protection and runoff.
Anyway, when the head end of the tarp is up in porch mode I attach the BB front side pullout to the tarps front corner d-ring. This pulls the bug net out AND up, and creates a cavernous space inside the hammock. Even in windy conditions I use this method and see no negative.
Just thought I'd share something that works well. I've heard lots of BB users say they use dedicated stakes for the hammock pullouts, but using the tarps anchor points seems to work great.
