First Cuben Project - Square bottom stuff sack

So before jumping on a DIY cuben tarp I figured I better try my hand at a smaller project. So what started as a pack cover, ended as a stuff sack. 1 yard was just shy of what I needed for my Flash 45.

I will admit I was pretty nervous about working with it, expensive fabric to mess up. But honestly, it isn't bad at all. Feeling a lot better about tackling a tarp.

Big thank you to Ripstopbytheyard.com for the supplies!

Sweet.....I've been looking to make either a pack liner for those really wet weather trips or maybe a cuben food bag. My DIY skills are kind of lacking and my patience even less. I'll leave both of those to the cottage vendors. Looks good though.

Both of those would be great first projects and would be under $20 depending on pack size. You could get two food bags out of one yard of cuben.
