10X12 Cathedral Cat Tarp Finally Finished!!!!

Amanda finally finished the 10X12 Cathedral Cat Tarp for my upcoming hike. She made me sew the tieouts on, so after I finished I hung it up so that i can seam seal it first thing in the morning (we are expecting rain tomorrow afternoon). I will take more pics of all the ways you can hang it up on my trip. With 4 tieouts on each side there are a lot of ways to block the wind, and it really gets taught.

We were trying to find a stealthy color, and seeing how brown and non-bright green are VERY,VERY, hard to find, we went with Black. The 1.1oz Silnylon is thin enough to be translucent, so it allows plenty of light to shine through. I haven't weighed it yet, but I will after I seam seal it.

I really like black for a tarp. I have both a Black MacCat and a BB BlackCat, and I prefer those to the lighter colors.

I like the black... I'm saving up for a tarp, but I'm not sure what dimensions yet.

In daylight, the black silnylon is grey from underneath. It's not depressing at all, unless you get depressed easily.

Looks like she is doing a fantastic job. Those cat cuts make that tarp tight all over. Wish I could get mine that nice. Mule

Looks very cool! Does it have extra tie-outs in the middle? If it did, you could use it as a 12x10 or a 9x10 just by folding a 1/3 of it up and using one of the middle tie-outs.

    Something like this:
