Q: Hex 1.0 or Hex 1.6W for 150# hanger? every night indoor use

Which fabric for every night use indoors?
1.1 oz. fabric hammocks have suited me in the past, but I want to try a wide hammock indoors. My concern is that my weight is too low for comfort in a 1.6 oz. fabric hammock. It might feel like I'm only laying on top of it, not the sinking down into it that I like on stretchy 1.1 oz. or lighter materials. Years ago, I tried a BIAS double layer that was strong fabric and it had that no stretch feel to it. Please comment, and consider including your weight as a reference point for your experiences with Dutch's fabrics.

I don't think you'll have any issues with a single layer in the Hexon W1.6. I am quite a bit heavier at 220-225. I've slept in mine every night for the past 4 months. I don't think you'll notice as much of a difference as you would if you went with a double layer. I also have a Hexon 1.0 and it's not a very significant difference, although I don't like it as much since it's only 58" wide.

If you prefer a stretchier feel, I would definitely go with the 1.0. If you are set on using a wider fabric you could check out another fabric supplier that carries a 1.0 XL fabric that rhymes with GROBIC. I think Dutch said he will have a 1.0 wide before too long. Hexon 1.6 is definitely less stretchy than any 1.0 will be.
