The "Palace" is to be (semi)retired.

I got out of bed AM yesterday, noticed 8 tiny holes in my tarp. It looks like my tarp,,,,, evaporated at those places. My tarp is over 9 years old & used A LOT, so I'm not surprised,, just sad.
What will likely happen is: I'll make repairs, get a smaller summer tarp & only use the palace in the winter. So it's not totally done, but semi retired.
Still, I am sad, she was a good tarp! Time to move on.

PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

Havent tried on this fix, but in past attempts to attach Duct Tape to Sil, It didn't even act like it was going to stick. I have silicone & scrap sil nylon & that does work. Hence the Palace being "semi Retired" instead of being turned into about 1000 stuff sacks. For those who don't want to do the math, it is 135 square feet of material.

I've repaired sil nylon by patching it with a scrap piece of nylon glued on with some sil net.
