Hey guys, I have a quick question.......Im reading thru the instructions in the sticky (diy top quilt)---is the top shell and the liner the same size/dimensions? (and what does he do with the edges of the cloth?) Is there another way that you would recommend? Thanks for the help!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

I don't know about the sticky, but they can be the same, you'll just lose a small bit of width. With an underquilt you'd want a differential cut with the shell larger.

You might've made your quilt already, but still... I used the climashield DIY guide found on the forum when I made my two quilts. For the second one I just made a fold in the fabrics (sewing through a total of four layers + the channel) and the outer layer a bit bigger than the inner layer. It worked out great! Basically the fold creates a bit of extra security that prevents the fabric from ripping.
