Question on the footbox: What are the dimensions of the triangle you added to your hammock? From what I can tell from the pic, it looks like a right-triangle, with the short edges about 26 inches...

I guess I'm off to Walmart at my next opportunity to get the materials for my 3rd hammock... I guess this is an addiction...

That would be hard to understand. The Traveler is lighter, would have the *same* lay, and be less bulky. I honestly don't miss the shelf when I use my Traveler(s).

it's not a triangle really, sort of but it's connected to the shelf so it is a bit of an hourglass shape

the footbox version would be nice addition to my in door collection.
The BB to me is the MOST comfortable hammock I own but I cant watch TV well or work on the computer thru the net
I'd get in line for one of these Brandon, assuming you got comfortable with the design

If it came in 1.7 dbl, I'd also consider one. We obviously know it can be done by seeing a picture of it, now it just takes the ability to mass produce them. I also feel that they would sell better than the Traveller. Sure the Traveller is lighter, but for an extra 4-5 oz, I'm sure people would sacrifice it for the footbox and shelf.

BTW... My vote goes for the Free Bird... spot on!
