    Zippered Bugnet on Gathered End

I recently tore a small hole (repaired with duct tape as of now) in my bugnet (on my first trip out...), and as I don't have the money available to buy a hammock with an included bugnet, I've been considering adding a seperate bugnet onto my hammock with a double zipper. Are there any stickies I'm missing about this, or just tips in general on how to do it?

Could you be a little more clear what the question is? Are you trying to replace an integrated bugnet on a hammock? Repair a hole? Make a new one?

Looking to sew a bugnet onto my hammock, which as of now is just a simple gathered-end hammock.

If you already have a bug net, my first thought would be to repair it. It would be much easier to sew a patch onto the bug net and cheaper, than to sew an integrated net onto your hammock. An integrated hammock bug net is a complex project. That's why I believe that the fronky style bug nets are a big hit.

I went with the zipperd bug net kit available at rippstop by the roll. I only need a bug net for 10% of my camping so why wood I wont a full time bug plus that adds wight to the back pack.
