I just received a surprise pass and am going to make it. Waiting on UPS delivery so may be late Friday, but will make it. I way over did it on my last trip to Uwarrie, and the elevation changes on the rocky parts of Dutchman kicked my butt. So will nice to have a nice walk in the woods and relaxing weekend rather than try to crush as many miles as I can to remind me how out of shape I am.

@sandman614 I might take you up on the ride along. I am NOT bring my off road machine this trip. (Needs some work and I do have time to get is sorted out. )
If I don't ride along I am up for some hiking as another option. Whoever posted something about hiking.
Sounds like there is a lot of food options I will pick up something to drink Hawaiian Punch or soda pop to share with the group.

I called to check on firewood that's sposed to be delivered at lunch time--and they are not coming till 400--I think 5 or 6 will be when they deliver. Now I'll be forced to eat lunch and supper at the same time--gotta listen to more diet adds on radio--ha

good to see all things are moving in. Sorry to those that miss it, hope your all healthier.
I am looking forward to the time out. We are going to be heading out to the dutchman or uwharrie on saturday morning (i would like to say early, but we are all backpacking and I am not sure how fast they will get moving. The plan is the full figure 8 loop sat and sunday, but we shall see.
