Just went through all the posts, I suppose I missed it, but have we picked a trail / trail head yet? Route? Campsite?

I work the 15th & the 18th but would love to do an overnight. & it's no farther than RRG for me. I will seriously need a hike by then anyway.

Would love a Tee, but I have literally 100s so, count me out on that.

I've never had coffee crisp, though it does sound delicious, but I really miss those Aero chocolate bars since I had them when I went to Canada a few years ago. I have never seen them in the US. If you're willing to bring some, I'll definitely buy the from you! That is, of course if they're still made and you can find them.

Rug - if you can make it to my house, I'll take you down the rest of the way. Yes, there will be hiking involved, but it should be a good first timer event.

Oms - the wife won't commit, but it's likely she won't attend.

Rug I cant speak for the 2nd option but if you take 94 to 69 you should be flying almost non stop at 70mph/112kph. Easy driving. If you did want to carpool partially with Trout you would just get off 69 just over the Indiana border and take the toll road west for about 45 min or so the leave the driving to Trout. I have driven that rout of toll road to 69 north to Imlay City tons of times and it is all fast driving. I have not been on 94 in a long time but Im sure it will be just as fast.

If anybody is willing to help a Canuck with the drive, I'll help with gas.

Folks don't let Opie kid you, I seem to remember a thread not too long ago where he talked about the trees bending on him when he hung, you better make his shirt an XXXL!

    =) jk.

On another note, I have not EVER done any 'hiking'. Is this hang area far from the spot to park? (i.e. can I fill my old school backpack, and make 2 trips back to the car???) If I get a shirt, it would need to be atleast 2XL.

Rug, I would love to get my hands on some Coffee Crisp's, Say a half dozen, if you could work it for the hang. Thank's

    looking possible for me

I think I be able to make it Friday, will have to slide along home sometime Saturday, as it will be at the tail end of a trip where I'll have been away from home for a week already. Plan A has me flying into Indy pretty late Thursday p.m., and I'll hunt up a motel 6 or something, then head to the Deam Friday morning.

Doctari (or anyone else)---if you can get there Friday noonish mayhapst we can stomp around for a while before the crowds arrive later in the afternoon and evening.
