Anyone ever use a. Roller foot on nylon/taffeta or fleece. Sorry for the thread hijack.
I imagine some have tried a roller foot, but I'm guessing it doesn't make enough of a difference to have become popular for our use. A regular foot should work well as long as the machine hasn't been run with the foot down repeatedly without fabric in it scarring the bottom of the foot and making it rough. A teflon foot would be another to try.
I've not used a roller foot or a teflon foot. But have used an even feed/walking foot. All of witch help to have top and bottom fabric flow in unison under the needle. An aid bit not necessarily.
Well I really have a problem...... I dropped into my fifth thrift store today and finally hit pay dirt. I found for $19.99 a 15-91 in excellent shape. The power cord needs a new end however it was well maintained from first glance. It also came with a table in ok condition and a stool. The stool had a lid that was taped shut and inside I found vintage gold. A brand new zig-zagger, a brand new button hole thingamajig, needles, bobbins and a near perfect manual. Additionally there are lots of attachments I have no idea what they are.
I could not wait to take pictures so here they are.
Great score!
Nice find. I've paid more than that for just the right bench seat.
The owner's manual will explain all of the accessories.
