@Koolranch, very nice score and a Centennial to boot. I have yet to actually find anything at a thrift store.

Thanks, there is no rhyme or reason. I go to Value Village, Salvation Army, Goodwill and habitat for humanity. You just never know. I got a near perfect 237 for $10.00 yesterday. It was frozen and I oiled it up and this morning it's is moving better.

No kidding! You hit the mother load. I've been hundreds of times and never saw anything nearly as nice in a thrift store.

    Congrats!

Thanks I'm very pleased. I was told that a lot of units come in on Saturday and Sunday after the yard sales. I'm always to busy on the weekends but you could try that theory.

Here is a shot of the extras after I sorted it all out. The only thing I threw out was a chap stick.

FWIW...The three Class 66 bobbins are for another machine (like a 66, 99 and many others). The 15-91 uses Class 15 bobbins.

10-4, I'll use them with the 201-2. It's the only machine I have that uses them.

I saw this machine in Craigslist and it looked nice. Here was the add.

Sewing Machine - Old Singer $50
    http://greenville.craigslist.org/fuo/4728176864.html

Any way I need another machine like a hole in the head right. I drive to go see it, (it was technically in my territory). When I got there the furniture was in decent shape however the unit needed electrical triage. I told the elderly couple thank you but I was going to pass because of the issues. She asked me if I could fix it and I said yes. Then she said.... "Well you can have it"..... So I got this for free.

It's not perfect but it was free!

Nice, it helps to be out and about. Free is my favorite price. I could make you an offer of free or slightly higher, you know because I would hate to see you get a hole in your head.

That's the right price! Looks like a decent cabinet and a nice stool!
