I understand this is a show-n-tell topic, but I don't have a thread injector as of yet. Wife and I are discussing it. Anybody have any recommendations?

Bought these for the wife a few years back.
Huskystar 224 and a Husqvarna Viking 910.
I have yet to make anything with the serger... too much thread to buy.
Diggin ya'lls vintage machines. Reminds me of my Great Grandmothers old Singer mounted on a flip top table.
She even had the old school foot / pedal powered version.

Do you have a decent sewing machine store locally?
How much do you want to spend?
Are you going to share the machine?
Is the machine just for sewing camping gear, or will it be used for general sewing (tailoring, quilting, crafts, making clothes, etc..)?
Would you prefer something new, 0-20 yrs old, 20-60, or 60+, or non-electric...?

Here's a new thread injector I picked up from JukiSmurf this morning.
No time to unwrap it yet. Maybe Sunday?
I have been accumulating again The week before I went to Linville Gorge I found 3 machines.
2 were free, and one I paid $5.00 for. All need freeing up and cleaning which I will get to eventually
