My first thread injector - late 30's Singer 201-2. Found 2 weeks ago looking lonely at the local Goodwill. I gave it a home, had it checked out (minor adjustments, new presser foot and bobbins, and a good clean/oiling and it works beautifully.

My thread injector. Still believe it's a Precision Sewing Machine company model branded for G. Fox & Co. department stores back in the 1950's. Has been working great!
I am so jealous of so many of your machines!

Got this off of CL for $40. Apparently a clone manufactured in Japan after WWII. Has an adjustment for how high the bottom feed comes up out of the deck that I haven't seen before. [Pictures from an iPod Touch that I have yet to get an unfuzzy photo from. It's the **** equipment I tell you, I'm perfect.]
I finally upgraded. I bought an old Necchi off of Ebay. I took me a little bit of work to get her running again. USPS really did a number on her. They broke the female plug at the end of the pedal. The part that the motor and the light plug into so I had to modify an extension cord to get it working again. Once I did and I got everything strung up right she worked like a dream.

I finally found a sewing machine on craigslist. It's not in the best cosmetic condition but seems to run like a champ. ...at least so far. And for $25 I certainly can't complain. I have partially completed two PLUQ's so far without too much trouble.
It's a singer 201-2.
Ok here it is. I got it for free from a friend and have not had a chance to make anything with it yet. I am in the learning stages right now. But a I am sure it will work out ok for me. It is a singer 247.
