I actually posted the latest a few weeks ago here: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...Hammock-and-UQ
To date I've done 4 Hammocks, including a hennessy clone with integrated net, 2 underquilts, a bunch of stuff sacks, and a bugnet. Eventually a tarp will be coming along.
I'm looking forward to getting the new machine running. My wife swears I heard angels singing from how my eyes lit up when we found it.

My 1971 DIY gear maker. Picked up at a Goodwill for $25 in a cabinet. Tuned up and ready to make some gear.
Hopefully this isn't too off topic, but since this thread is mostly about old machines that have been rescued, does anyone have suggestions on how to sharpen the thread cutter on a 25 year old machine? It does not appear to be removable. A friend suggested just attaching a razor blade to the back, but thought maybe you thread injector experts would have some ideas. Thanks.
Though we do talk about machines a lot in this thread, it's really more about pictures of our sewing machines, boasting about bargains, etc. !
A separate discussion thread in the DIY area would probably get more attention to your question about thread cutters.
I've never used the thread cutter on any of my machines. Scissors work better for me, especially for reaching under the work to snip the bobbin thread.
BTW - no razor blades around my machine! I hate blood on my projects!
I never use the thread cutter either. Small thread scissors do a better job for me.
I keep a pair of sharp tailors scissors on hand for all of my thread cutting
