Armed with this info I ordered a new motor/foot switch, drive belt, and lamp. The unit appears to be in good mechanical shape. Still need needles and bobbins. Perhaps convert it back to a treadle unit if a cabinet can be found.
I have the same machine also, mine is treadle only tho and made in 1923. If you search Ebay, you can find a manual and attachments for it and just about everything else it made need. They are very common and really neat machines

This is my new second hand machine. Ramblinrev says it's a good one. Cleaned it up, oiled, checked out - sews good and has hardly been used. Now I can do zigzag!

Just got my first machine (hand-me-down from my grandmother in-law) had it serviced and used it on my first project yesterday. It's amazing how much more I respect people who MYOG after attempting to sew in a straight line all day yesterday

Dug this out of dad's garage today. Cleaned and oiled it up and it works pretty good for being out there for 15 years. This was a Christmas gift from grandpa to grandma in '55.

I think I have been bitten by the bug. It's been 21 years since I used one of these things in high school.
