I'm not sure if the embedded video is working - it's showing a blank window in the preview.
Here is a link in case the embedding isn't working.

Here's your video,
u.w.
Thanks, I saw it was there when I checked from my phone. I figured it was a new block at work since I saw a bunch of other embedded videos were not showing up either. I guess I'll use your method from now on. Thanks again.

Nice work, enjoyed the video! I recently completed a similar bugnet project using those zippers. I basically used the exact same technique except I took the ends of mine under the triangles instead of over. I love those zippers and being able to enter/exit from anywhere that I want to, as well as remove it entirely for six months, or even add a cover in winter.

Nice setup and thanks for sharing the video and information.
Nice build. Just for clarification, does your bug net come off completely so you can go netless or swap it for an overcover?
Thanks, it is really nice. I have not had a lot of luck with solid covers....I generate a lot of moisture, so I think I may make a cover with a small vent that I can leave open.
Thanks, and you're welcome.
Yes, it comes off and goes on very easily....a little easier than my Hammeck Envy's cover goes on and off.

I've not tried one, have been done to 15F without issue, but I think it may be more comfortable at those temperatures with one. My thought was to sew some of my leftover no-see-um into a panel at the head end to aid with condensation. Oh well, too many other high-priority projects at the moment!

Is the bugnet made from a single width of material or did you have to join two pieces?
Single width. There are a few threads on attaching bug nets, basically you sew the zipper onto the hammock, set up the hammock and stake out the pullouts tight, drape the bugnet material over the opening and pin in place. Get in and test, adjust as needed then unzip the net and sew them together.
