    Greetings from Northern CA

    Hello Hammock Forums members,

Greetings from Northern CA. My sleepwell name I chose because I've been sleeping well in the hammock. I tried out the HH Ultralite asym zip backpacker and have slept consistently well. I've found that my mind is more clear consistently when I wake and that's the main reason. It's like having a clean windshield. Maybe it's the outdoor air, maybe it's the absence of dust mites and offgassing plastic hardwood floors in the house in summer. Maybe it's both. Don't know. But I've been sleeping well in the hammock outside.

I just got the Super Shelter and I like straight away that everything lines up without a great deal of effort on my part cause it's made for the HH. So far, I'm pleased with it. Yes the pad is fragile and I don't even want to think about rolling it back into the stuff sack, but my life is pretty much M-F 9-5 and I'll mainly be using the hammock at home where I've got it set up. So I should have to put it back in the stuff sack. I may get out one of these weekends to the redwoods or down by the San Fran coast for a one night camping trip. Or in Tahoe National Forest...we'll see.

Trying to not to get too hot while sleeping is my current hammock project. Thanks to all you forum members for your input in general on this forum. It's been a resource for me as I'm getting into hammock camping---even though most of my hammock camping is in my back yard.

Getting back to my boyscout roots. Getting outdoors. Getting some good sleep. '

Welcome from Southern Maryland! It has been pretty hot and humid here this past month, but I have been able to enjoy some outdoor sleeping still. Glad you are enjoying your hammock!

Whereabouts in Norcal are you? I'm about half way between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately, you just missed a Nor Cal overnight backpack and hang a few months ago. But we'll keep you informed about future trips if you like.
