Really interested to see if this is a viable option
Well I want to explore it fully so still fiddlin' with it. Just home from a two night backpack and tested it as a hiking pole first. Worked better than I imagined it would. Very sturdy.
Hoping to get it fully tested before the snows come..eek::::::

You're looking at this the wrong way. With snow comes ice. With ice comes frozen lakes. With NoGround poles, you can sleep on a frozen lake! Win-win!
