    DIY Hammock/DIY Tarp

My hammock and tarp are all done! Pictures of the work in progress are limited but I will be uploading them to a gallery and putting a link to them as a reply to this thread along with the finished product. I have a few questions though because as with everything DIY I will always find improvements to my own product!

Right now I'm just using the Marjorie Sheer window panels as my bug netting, when I switch over to noseeum mesh what weight is best? I've heard anything under .9 is insanely stretchy and a pain to work with, any truth to that? Thinking about just dealing with the weight and going with a more durable 1.3 oz.

How long do I have to weight for the silicone seam sealer/mineral spirits to cure before testing? I know people say 24 hrs, but say at 20 hrs it looks dry and/or doesn't feel tacky, should I be good to test with the hose?

Probably ought to put talcum powder on the seam sealer first.
