The trails around Worlds End are particularly steep. Some of it is almost climbing. Really beautiful area, just hiked it a few weeks ago.
Did you guys hit up the Haystacks near the eastern end of the trail? Really cool area with a pretty crazy geological history.
Nice. Anyone get the big turkey leg at the park?

GBD, you are not wrong. I have waited just one time for that ride and I am happy to say that is enough. The Twister and Phoenix are my Sons and my favorites. He is only 7, the metal coaster with loops may be next years accomplishments.
Seriously the ability to stumble upon this place on the ride home, run in, jump on a coster and pay per ride was perfect. I have stayed there two separate times now. so much fun.
Sup?
Love those lake pix....even the tarp-tent.
I like the birds and Shug shirt. Warmed my heart a little.

Yes. That was Sones Pond. Seemed more like a lake from most people counting. From what we have seen, there are bass in there to break the scale. I'm looking to the map to see where they may be a close parking spot for a quick overnight. It was really cool spot to hit after 50 or so miles. It was our last night. When we arrived there was a European Father and Son staying for the weekend with the most well behaved irish setter/dog I have ever seen. While they spent time convincing us that the pond was good to filter and drink. They kept walking to some public gazebo to fill drinking containers. I guess the joke was on us. Tasted fine to me. Probably made European pee.
Sup?
