What do you think of this sock entry/exit design?

What do you think of this entry/ exit design?

It makes the sock simple to make and it doesn't look hard to close it. A bit harder to wiggle out of it. Thoughts?

Looks like a cool design for a bugnet system. (Im kinda new here so i dont know if thats been done before.)

I dig it! Are you able to cinch it without having to reach all the way up?

That's keeping it simple. Kinda makes it hard to hang other things, like lights, from the ridgeline inside the netting.

I took a screenshot from the video to study the point you made.

A hammock ridgeline would sit from tip of hammock to tip of hammock, but his pulley system is higher then where a hammock ridgeline would be. The height of his line is usually the height of my tarp ridgeline. I think with this sock system, you would need a separate pulley ridgeline just for the sock.

    Thoughts?

Good catch, I totally missed that. I suppose it wouldn't need to be as high as shown, but its a separate pulley ridgeline for sure. Shouldn't be too much extra weight, I think. For high tarp hangers like me, this would work just fine.

Make sure you have drip loops on your suspension and interested to see how it works in the cold with condensation. Very handy if it doesn't condensate,

If you built a sock like a Fronkey bugnet, would that work?

I'm not a big fan of the Fronkey entry, but at least I can see what I'm doing with a net.
