I'm a Hamakko......lived in the Honmoku area for the first 18 yrs of my life, attended and graduated from a DOD school, which later moved to Yokosuka. That was back in '72 when I graduated from HS.

Carbon, I live in Honmoku now. This area is proably where you lived it was base housing back then. Both my kids graduated from the school in Yokosuka. I am retired Navy so that is why I have been in Japan so long. My first ship was home ported in Yokosuka. Small world indeed.

I just took the plunge! I just pulled the trigger on a Warbonnet Blackbird XLC 1.7 DL and a Wookie XL 3 season. Once all the gear arrives I will have a complete Warbonnet setup hammock/UQ/Superfly tarp.

Now help me hide from my wife! If she finds out..... Well at least I will have a place to sleep!

I've spent a little time in japan in the course of my duties as a US Marine. Climbed Mt Fuji which was pretty epic! =) Tokyo and other places, I have fond memories!
