This Jawja boy takes comfort in the fact that when those guys were moaning and groaning about how hot it was last summer, my wife and I were out in the heat backpacking and hanging on the AT among other places.

I just ain't gettin out if it's much below freezing temps- don't have the right gear for that kind of cold.

Even so I enjoyed the podcast as always, thanks to all participants and to the hosts.

Not to be too picky but for some reason Bic's segments were a little hard to understand and seemed chopped up. Looking forward to the next episode!

Yes, sometimes it's tough to get a bunch of folks in the same conf. call at the same time. Bic was dialed in via a phone from a parking lot, and he cut out a little bit. Ah well, the adventures of podcasting...

Thanks for posting this - I didn't even know the podcast existed till now. Just downloaded and listened to the first episode. Really good. Makes me wonder what other stuff I don't know that I don't know about.

There are some great youtube channels and podcasts out there, like Shug's video series, of course, and backpackingadventures.com, and even Sintax77's videos. But really, just get out camping and have fun and don't worry about what you're missing. Life's too short!
