Any DIY Bridge Spreader Bar Bumper ideas?

Instead of sliding the innertube around the whole part and obscuring the antenna, why can't you find a smaller innertube that only covers the body of the piece and leaves the antenna free?

Appreciate the input and even more so appreciate your bridge tutorial which my work was based on. The bridge is a new project so I've only had a few nights in it. My lack of experience could have me searching for a solution to a problem that may not exist for many.

A good idea if I continue to visit this idea and can find something like this. I appreciate the idea.
