    Hanging out...

    Cheesy thread name, sorry everyone!

Anyway, I'm tlhup. I got my ENO set this past weekend and I've been setting it up and taking it down in the front yard for 4 days now.
I've got a khaki ProNest, an olive Profly, and some slapstraps that seem kinda... off?

I haven't done much camping (I don't like tents, they always feel damp and I don't like to sleep on the ground), but I hope to thru-hike the New England Trail next year. I'd also like to figure out how to hang my hammock to sleep instead of a bed when I move into an apartment for school, preferably something not wall-damaging or overly bulky/expensive.
I'm thinking about maybe making my own underquilt too, but we'll see about that.

Anyway, I'm really excited about the world of suspended sleeping!

Welcome to the Hammock Forums. If you have any questions we are here to help. There are many threads on here on how to hang indoors and even disguise the hooks so it's hard to tell you've even been hanging.

Welcome to the forums and the addiction.

I'm sure you could manage the wooden stand for your apartment. Would not cost much and with bolts, can be broken down for moving. You could start getting pieces now and in a month or so complete it. I find working with wood easier then sewing.....my guess is 3-4yr olds could sew better then me.
When the wife asks, I simply say "Shug made me do it".
