    Florecent Green Dynaglide

I purchased a bunch of dynaglide about a year ago, both green and orange. The orange is soft and easy to work with. For the first time I made some woopies with the green and it was stiff and hard to work with? Has anyone else had the same problem? Any other issues with the green?

I have both the orange and green. They seem about the same to me when new.

I suggest you play with it more? Lol not in that way dirty minds. But if its like amsteel/lashit you need to play with it by running it around your fingers to break up the coating and loosen the weave a bit then splicing is like cutting butter, easy.

FWIW, it seems to vary based on lot from what I've seen. I've never had a issue working with it, whether stiff or soft.

The coating thickness does vary from production lot to lot. Sometimes it's the orange that is stiffer but usually it's the green. Just something about how much they slather it with the polyurethane. It will Olsen and soften in time with use and just takes a little bit of practice to get used to how to splice it with the extra coating.

10-4, I finished up six sets of woopies and I'll try one if them out.

my green was extremely stiff - not necessarily a problem, but noticeably more stiff than any amsteel I've worked with.
