    It could be 30° or -30°, so it may just come down to the week before and seeing if you feel comfortable with the forecasted temps. That 20° +4 UQ sounds pretty darn toasty though!

    You could get a set of Costco down throws for $40 and make yourself a ~40-50° quilt set. That coupled with your 20° quilts should allow you to push to 0 or below.

    Ive been busy these past few weeks, i made a sock and an UQ with the costcos and I an UQ with extra stuffing, I still have 2 extra quilts to use as some extra stuffing, and now i have a ridge runner I have to set up so going to be busy busy busy lol... I am getting all phsyced for the wisconsin winter hang

    Portability is not an issue at the MN Frozen Butt hang. Some choose to practice using their lightweight, nomadic kits and walk from the cars (10 minutes on road). You can also drive your gear right up to the campsite - you could bring a piano if you're really motivated and have good enough food to entice some volunteers to help.

    I bring this up so you don't struggle with a leave it/bring it decision if you don't have to....

    Have fun and bring along some good food!
