    The Kramer bag

    Made the ugliest bag possible...lol

Attempting to make a bishop bag, I lost track of inside vs outside so ended up with seams all over the place. Trying to put a round bottom on it certainly didn't help matters.

I dedicate this to the folks who marvel at the beautiful work people on this forum do... But end up with something similar to this! 😎

I nicknamed it the Kramer Bag as an ode to the Seinfeld cigar episode. "It's hideous. Don't look at it."

Serves its purpose at least, so not a total loss.

Functional. And in the second picture it looks like it is smiling, so enjoy! I would have sewn my thumb into it, so at least you have that going for you!

A learning project, may not be the most picturesque however, as you said it works. Better luck on your next project.

You will never worry about it walking off and dark color hides blood stains. I'd call it a grand success!

You made it the right way. It's the inner beauty that counts!

I've noticed that when I'm lying in the hammock I can't see the dodgy stitching on my modified sleeping bag/TQ. All I feel is warm.

If it looks stupid, and it works....then it isn't stupid.

I dig how sketchy it looks. Looks sturdy.

If it works, it works. I've been experimenting with ways to put a cord pocket on the outside of mine so far they all have a bit of a Frankenstein aura about them too.

I don't bother trying to sew a bottom and make a stable hole in it though. I sew a tube with a channel on each end. One end gets a bit of shock cord to close it, the other end gets the draw cord. This works really well and looks good too, until I start adding pockets

Hey! As long as it works, that's all that matters. I still use my first tarp. I will cringe at the stitching and crooked tie outs and uneven cuts, but I'm dry when it rains!
