Most likely a $10 savings. Maybe $15. OK considering the ship date (not too long of a wait for massdrop).

Can't say I like what they're doing with the carabiners in the photos. I question whether anyone in the history of hammocking has ever done that!

They mention to see the warbonnet video for setup, then go and do that. I guess they didn't watch it?

I find my 10' Traveler to have a bit more calf ridge than I like. Tempted to try this, but I'll probably stick with my goto hammock. I'm still trying to learn "if it's not broke..."

They acknowledge the fact that they set it up wrong, at least.

Anyone know if the traveler has a lay direction similar to the BB? Or is it uniform and you can lay in any direction you wish.

I didn't take a close look at their photos when I first saw this but I do see the error in the way they connected the webbing/buckles and carabiner. I guess that is why they added the disclaimer - "Please see the video below for Warbonnet Outdoors's recommended setup method."

I wouldn't call that a disclaimer, but rather a helpful instruction you'd see with any product. I could be splitting hairs, but they should disclaim something directly about not setting it up as shown in the photos if it's because they didn't want to reshoot And they always have nice photos!

Indeed. Hopefully the Warbonnet crew will call them out on the photos and have them retake them.
