That's the best part of the movie. There isn't a plot. Well, it is so lame you aren't even the slightest bit emotionally attached to it.

Unless you feel strongly about the glorification of New Age spirituality, and the presentation of white people as selfish, genocidal racists.

See, I didn't even notice that was going on because the plot is so thin. To me this show was nothing more than a sequential series of special effects scenes. And I've seen the movie twice.

Well gosh, we HAVE to be... I've been told so by all the "important" people for at LEAST the past 30 years! Aren't we?

Nah, I just stop caring about 10 years ago, turned off the TV, don't read/listen to the news, etc. Heck, I didn't know there was an earthquake in Haiti until the Friday after it occurred (it happened on a Tuesday I think).

I thought the themes came straight out of Kindergarten. Don't take things that don't belong to you, ask permission, sometimes you do have to take NO for an answer even if you really really really want something, stand up to bullies, etc.

    Seemed pretty straightforward.

I'm waiting for the sequel, where the next ship out has a bunch of bombs- ("nuke 'em from orbit- it's the only way to be sure." + 5 points if you can ID the actress who first used that quote...)KM
