We remove the existing buckles and replace the webbing. We're tumbling the buckles in a vibratory tumbler to farther file them down and we added a short length of thick dyneema climbing webbing over the contact edge to act as padding, dyneema being the most cut resistant webbing material there is.

Hey there WB guy I just picked a used RR not sure of the age. Here is a pic to see if it needs to be fixed. It has your old logo on it.
