Colorado/White Ranch - Golden/Saturday Nov 12th

Doing a quick overnight trip at White Ranch Sawmill campground on Saturday, November 12th to test out some new gear.

I have already reserved sites 17 and 18 and have two overnight vehicle permits. If anyone is interested, you're welcome to join us and I'll reserve the two vehicle passes as first come, first serve. If you are unable to obtain a pass from me, you can go anytime to the Jefferson County Open Space Office and obtain an overnight permit. Just tell them you are in the Chapman group for Nov 12th.

There is firewood but hoping they'll lift the current burn ban, vault toilet, picnic table and plenty of trees.

Bummer. This is my weekend to work. I've got some new stuff to test as well.

I may have to score a reservation for early next week.

I would love to join in the fun. Not sure if I can swing it, but it would be good timing since I just finished making my CF tarp and recently picked up a 2nd hand LocoLibre UQ.

If I can make it, I will just mountain bike in, since I live relatively close. Then I don't have to worry about parking etc.

Called to see about availability, and they're closed for election day. Ringtail - I'm curious how you managed to reserve? Looks like you have to go up to Jeffco and visit in person to book?

Anyhow, Skeet - I'd like to bring my bike and come up there also - probably leave the car down in Golden or something. Do I need to do anything or just show up and hang? Thanks for posting this!
