Hey guys actually been lurking on here for a while getting advice before actually posting.
I switched over to a hammock this spring after getting wet on the last 2 cub scout camping trips my son and I have done in a tent.
He I got him a double nest and I purchased the whole double nest onelink back during the REI anniversary sale while ENO's were 25% off..
SO far we have spent 4 nights in the hammocks getting used to the differences over tent camping.
I also recently picked up a sewing machine and plan on slowly DIYing lighter gear.
My son moves up to scouts this winter so we'll see what camping changes to next year.
