Yes quite a few couples, several of whom have made a recent SJ hangs as well. It's an active group that continues to grow. Nice folks.

I think he may have been referring to meetup.com in a more general sense, not just that group.

And yes, it does seem on the surface to look an awful lot like a way for singles to find others with similar interests ... but in practice it's a lot more than that, if you use it wisely.

I had to wait until 9:30 pm for my wife to leave before I could make the salsa verde. She can't stand seeing me cook "for strangers," as she calls it. I should be cooking for our family. I don't really get this Catholic guilt thing - boggles the mind.

She's picking up oldest son at the airport.
