Looks like maybe 15 mph winds on Saturday night near Batston, anything I should plan on special for hammock camping in 15mph winds? My tarp has no doors and I just have the 4 corner tie outs on it at the moment. Going with just that, my hammock, TQ/UG and some warm clothing. Is 15 mph wind anything give special attention to while hanging? If so, what should I bring? Am about ready to rig up an old clear plastic painters tarp to maybe suspend around my UG. Does that make any sense?

I'd just check the prevalent wind direction in camp and set up your tarp perpendicular to it. Also set up low with your hammock high in it, to have good wind coverage.

Yeah, that's all good stuff to pay attention to.

I wouldn't use that for a uqp, since it's a vapor barrier and would potentially make things unpleasant (condensation). You should be pretty good with the gear you have - temps aren't going to be as cold we'd like.
