Screwed up a couple times. Now I can make a set of slings in about a half hour or less. Just added to my explorer ultralight. Thanks for all the tips.
awesome vid! thanks for that
Thanks for the fantastic resource.
Thank you very much for putting this together! Well done and great music choices to boot.

Thanks for the excellent video, it was simple and clear just the way I need it. Now my Hennessy Expedition is easy to setup and adjust.
I put the knot covers and snake skins back on, and tied the stock Hennessy tarp anchors on the stationary side of the loop (I might run a separate line for the tarp someday). Also using tree straps with a marlin spike hitch with the whoopie slings. It all works good together.
Thanks again Everyone for all the info... this video, whoopie slings, and locked brummel tutorials.

Great video. Gonna make me some. The music just helps me get excited.
How long is the original length of the rope?
Thanks and great video,
Luke
Hi Luke. I probably started with 12 - 14 feet per end. That would make your slings in the neighborhood of 6 feet depending on length of loops, burys and attaching to the hammock.

I just need to say how much I love this thread, I don't even close the window I have it open in. It's superbly explained and demonstrated, easy to do after a couple glasses of wine. I almost wish I had more hammocks to do this to.
