New to the forums and to hammocking. I don’t live to far away, so I am interested. Also, never done a hang, so, is there a cost or anything required (need to bring) for these? Thanks.

No cost. You need a hammock, tarp, insulation, food and water.
If you don't have a hammock yet, you can bring a tent. We'll pick on you, but we won't mean it.
Optional is booze, snacks, desserts, whatever to share. I suggest a lightweight camp chair, if you have one. We congregate at the fire pit.

Awesome! Thank you! I’ll be there. Can’t wait.
I will be heading down there this weekend with some of my customers will give a report on the water availability!
Hey guys it's been a while. Planning to camp Saturday through Monday so I may spend a night or two out that way, always a good time. Hoping for dry, cool weather!
oldgringo's reply to my worrying about owning extra hammocks:
How many pairs of underwear do you own? Do you refer to them as "extras", simply because you're not wearing all of them as we speak?
If the forecast holds, should be water onsite. Showers to the middle of the week.

Hey guys, long time since I've talked with some of you... Wont be at this one as i have started a group hang in Louisville... Our Halloween Hang is the same weekend. I believe member Deckyon mentioned it on page 4... Anyways... If you guys discuss a winter event like you have done past two years, please let me know id love to bring some of our group to the hang..
Ended up hiking the Knobstone trail this weekend instead, there were some pools of water in the stream beds down there. With the rain this week I would guess water will not be an issue but I would pack a gallon or two extra and leave it in your car just in case.
