I do have a tried and true plan based on many group camping trips. I dig a deep hole and then put a raised toilet seat over it, and there is even a tent enclosure over it. Usually there are a couple of separate holes dug for a weekend.Originally Posted by gargoyle

Found out earlier today I have a schedule conflict so I'll be unable to come out this winter hang. Have a great time everyone, I'll try to show up in the spring.
Ron, I unfortunately cannot attend this years event as I originally thought I would have been able too; and I was so looking forward to it. Hard to believe it has already been a year since last years winter hang. I hope you have a good turnout and it goes well.
I am planning on coming, but it will depend on travel conditions from central Ohio. Is there a hard time for arrival on Friday? Like "do not show up before noon"?

The camp out is now a week out and the forecast is calling for mild weather and a chance of rain on Saturday. I received a turkey for Christmas from work and I will try cooking it on a spit over the fire for the pitch-in on Saturday. I will write up some directions to the place and post them next week.
Ron, I was hoping to make it but I have a family emergency which will take priority this weekend. Sorry, hope everyone has a good time in the heat wave!

Directions:
From state Rd 3 turn right (left if coming from the south) onto Adams St in Blocher. Go 1 block to the end of the street and jog to the right slightly onto the gravel road. Drive past my tan farmhouse with a green roof, and turn left into the field. There will be two fence post with pink streamers at the turnoff. Then follow the path out to the campsite. If you are not comfortable taking your vehicle through the field you may park by the tan truck and I will bring you back to the campsite in my Xterra.
