Good for her. I will only consider if nighttime temps are above 30 and daytime temps are at least 48. Also the burning ban would have to be lifted but I am sure it will be by then. Went to Merchant's this past weekend and it was charcoal campfires only due to lack of forest rangers to fight a forest fire if one were to break out.

Really wish I could join you all. I've been hitting up Millpond over the summer - granted in the family/drive up sites. It's allowed me to get to know my HH better. And I get to squeeze some carving in. I'll be at a conference out of town. You all enjoy! Another time.

Look at the bright side. At least with smoke from the fires there will not be any problem with mosquitos in February. :-)

I just drove through smoke from the fires in SC and GA. The smoke was especially thick around Spartanburg.
