Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am new to this forum but have been backpacking for 30 years. Most of that time was spent as a grond dweller but I was "enlightened" several years ago to hammocks. All of my backpacking has been in the southeast (Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia). I do have a group of guys I go with a couple of times per year but most of my trips are solo. I hope to be able to meetup with some of ya'll and hit the trail sometime.
Greetings from the mid state! I used to live out in W.Tn then moved to MT. That is one advantage of living here is that we are much closer to the hills for outdoor pursuits.

Welcome! It's a great forum. I'm from Memphis and do a lot of hanging, kayaking, fly fishing in Arkansas.
Haven't been there but it is not too far from me. I will see about getting down here some time soon
