Hello all,

My name is Dennis and signed up to come along this year. I'm new here on Hammock Forums and started hanging this past year. I'm not new to camping, former dirt dweller ...

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from the looks of things, One just signs up, shows up, pays at event, and has a good time ?

Hammock placement isn't an issue ? Just set up as close to the action or as far as one wants ? The action being the hub of activity~

You are correct, sir.

The only thing I'd add:

Technically the only communal meal is Saturday night, so plan to bring food for the other meals, as you see fit.

Not really a set amount of "spots", or a limit to attendance* - just add your name to the spreadsheet, and show up.

*I suppose technically there might be a maximum number of hammocks that Batona can hold, but I don't think that we've ever come anywhere close to finding out what that number might be.

Imagine what a sight it would be if we did fill out all the tree spaces at Batona, if that happens we better get Njredneck some help in the kitchen! as it is he spends the majority of his time cooking it seems.
