One thing I must stress. There is NO alcoholic beverages allowed in NJ state parks. -> Be discreet if you must have something. <-
This is not a party in the woods, we like to have fun, but we also like that we can keep coming back. Please respect all rules.
Also, when I pick up my permit I'm going to see if there is any trash in the near by area that they would want us to help remove. If there is, I will need some volunteers.
Please police the area you are setting up in, we want to leave the camp cleaner than what it was when we got there.
Dinner on Saturday night will be at 6pm. Try to have what you are making ready at that time. If you are entering into the Coup de grace de grub contest, see me anytime before dinner and I will give you a number to display on your food. I will also have voting cards for everyone so you can vote for your favorite. (Don't give in to the young bucks with puppy dog eyes, make them earn it. lol)
We will have a table for the raffle, if you have something to add, please have it over there right after dinner at the latest as we usually go right into the raffle after every one eats and before the food coma sets in.
There are signs marking the camp limit, please do not hang past them. If you have to use one tree in and one out, it should be ok.
There is a road that loops the camp, you can stop to unload if you want, but please do not block it. The rangers really don't like that. We may have to do some positioning of cars as more people show up so if you don't have to be up at the crack of dawn on Sunday, don't worry if your car gets blocked in. Also, if you do have to leave at the crack of dawn Sunday, we will figure out a good area for you guys to park so you can get out with out having to hunt down the person in front of you.
Like I said earlier, I'm shooting to be down around noon. Earlier if I can. If you have any questions, come ask. We will be the ones setting up by the group area, just look for the popups and tables.
