    Cloudburst vs Mamajamba

Looking at the Cloudburst for my newly purchased RR. The specs for these two Tarps on the website look identical in every way except for the pull out placements. Anyone know why the Cloudburst comes in 4oz heavier?

If I could do it over I would've gotten the superfly.

I ordered a 12' tarp for my RR, Superfly type, it seems to allow you to close the doors, hermetically according to someone who owns a 12' tarp with doors with a similar cut. I didn't receive it yet, so I can't confirm. I asked for the pull outs spaced like those on the cloudburst.

Happy with the Cloudburst. Works perfectly with RR due to the location of the panel pull outs near the spreader bars on the hammock. The lack of cat cuts means there is a bit of ruffle sometimes in the wind, but then you are getting a bit more coverage.

Rouskof, that sounds ideal---doors and cat cuts of the Superfly, with the panel pulls spaced for the RR. Very smart. I'm surprised this is not a standard choice on the website.

    Here is a size comparison:

From top to bottom it's the WB Edge, the WB Mamajamba, the WB Cloudburst and the WB Superfly. The difference between the MJ and the CB is that the MJ is a hex tarp, the CB is more like a rectangular tarp. The CB provides a lot more coverage. For a gathered end hammock you don't really need it, but for a bridge hammock it's good to have.

Awesome! Thank you for the photo. That explains what is hard to tell from pictures on the website.

Wow just awesome, this has got to be the best demonstration of a company's tarp differences I have ever seen.

    Thank you
