    Windy forest hang in Sweden

The plan was to be away the whole weekend but work and a cold got in the way. The trip started with high wind, rain and mist. During the night the weather changed to a cold breeze with freezing temperatures but the morning was beautiful with clear sky and a bright sun.

The WB Superfly Tarp caught the wind a few times and during the night the trees was "swinging" quite a bit. After staking the tarp firmly it felt kind of cosy to listen to the wind and moving trees "outside".

The cold killed the phone batteries but after putting the phone in the jacket I managed bring it to life and take some pictures of the morning sun with mixed result.

    Camp site in the morning:

    Mixed forest floor:

Small creek on the way home:

Forest canyon on the way home before the phone died again.

Yes. It's all about the scenery, the smell, cold air and the sound (it's quiet) :-)

Wonderful pictures! I'm hankering to get out again, but it's been raining cats and dogs for one and a half weeks or so, and it looks to be keeping up in the foreseeable future.

Yes. The pine forest is great place to hang in during winter. Still green and "alive".

I have been lucky..this was the sixth weekend in a row for me :-) During the afternoon/night it was quite windy (almost 45mph) but during the morning everything cleared up.
