    Warbonnet webbing Suspension

    Hi.

I have a stock WB webbing/bucket suspension kit left over. Does anyone know if it is possible to put the kit on a Hennessy Ultralite hammock. Is the continuous loop with buckets long enough or do I need to do some other mods?

Grateful for any tips and/or advice

I have them on my HH Explorer Ultralight and remember it being a fairly easy swap... I do think I had to add a longer amsteel loop but that it wasn't hard.. I just removed the covers and copied the pattern that Hennessy used. Think I used the whoopie sling conversion videos to get the wrap pattern right. There are several videos out.

I remember something about HH changing the way they tied the ends so it may be a bit different than the way mine was done. Should still be fairly simple.

This should help, if you have the webbing connection, you can just use the stock 8 inch loop that warbonnet provides.

    Thanks!

Hmmm... I have the other one and was a bit afraid that the stock 8 inch loop should be to small..guess I have to look for a different solution :-(

Thanks! Was it impossible to fit the stock loop...I do not have any amsteel and would like to use the stock WB kit?

I have the first type in Dutch's video. So looks like it needs a longer loop to work. How big is the stock HH rope on your hammock? If its the thinner rope you may be able to use that, If not you could probably tie the stock rope into a loop and attach the stock WB setup to that rope? It would be a bit longer from the hammock though.

I think I have the same type. I did as you suggested and it works. Thanks!
