Well, I finally spent my first night in a hammock...and in the same night experienced my first cold weather outing (15*).

Great to hear you made it to 15 F. It isn’t every day when someone steps up for the first time and hits it out of the park--solid setup and first hang. Pictures look good too and are appreciated.

Hawkeye mentioned the Griz beak also. It would've done a much better job at keeping the wind out. I think I'll have to buy one of those too (looks like I found another hobby that qualifies as a "black hole" for money).

With all the insightful reviews here at the forum, it seems like my “To Buy Soon” list keeps growing and growing… To me, its money well spent. Hanging is a very terrific hobby that I am enjoying terribly. Thanks to Shug and all the other helpful and friendly people here at the forum!
