Hello and welcome from Marietta GA.

My advice is always to take your time in making gear decisions and do good research. Perhaps instead of buying a piece of gear every paycheck, set some aside and purchase once you've reached a decision. That's a nice pack you have there!

    Happy hanging!

    Thanks John
I try to read reviews from other people and pick a few from their and watch YouTube reviews and then make my decision weighing the pros and cons.

    Thanks again!!

I started hammock camping in the spring and learned a lot from YouTube - especially Shug's videos. I've managed to sleep outside in my hammock at least 1 night a week. Like anything, doing is the best way to learn. Group hangs are a great way to get help in figuring problems out. And of course there is this forum...
