    Question Tarp Accessories storage....

I have a DIY tarp and two Dutchware gear WASPs that I use for attaching to anchor points. I use zing it for my guy lines and ridge line tie outs (going to move to something else).

That being said, I have been keeping the wasps in the clear plastic bag that they came in and just attaching them to the ridge line when I hang, to keep the tarp fabric safe as possible and not get a worn place in it from the wasps... the ends of my line wear quicker when i take the wasps on and off, and on several occasions i have had to trim the ends that fray in the process of taking them on and off.........so the question i have is this: Do you leave your accessories, like the wasps, on your tie outs and just stuff them in the stuff sack or do you take them off like I have been doing?

    thanks in advance!
    Brad

I also leave all strings attached and it slides into my snake skin when I put things up.

No.....I use snake skins from mountain goat and have a pocket on each end that the access string and assorries goes into so the only thing touching the tarp when put up in the line.

I leave all my stuff on. Even made a mini double end side pouch for my RL and door Shock cord.
It's actually 2 stuff sacks, one inside the other. Ones waterproof and ones breathable.

The hardware can't touch the tarp. And I always have an extra sack
