My videos are more about the hike in since when I get there I'm too busy talking to remember (or want) to film.

50-60 probably. maybe 40's at night. two years ago we were sitting around in t shirts then had a cold front move through in the afternoon and temps were low thirties over night.

Donna here...If memory serves correctly, for the last 5+ years, the temps have been in the 30's at night. Coat temps in the morning with sweatshirt temps during the day.

Sounds perfect. I like cooler weather for sleeping outside. I have a 20 degree quilt set, so should be okey dokey.

    Hi, Donna.
Can you make it early February, instead?? My lovely wife, Patti, is chomping at the bit.
She's really jazzed about the spring MAHHA. Couple summers ago she got her Ridgerunner. A couple months ago, a new AE Underquilt, and after Friday's mail, she unboxed her new (Christmas present) 70" Monster tarp.
(that's as tall as her, come to think of it...)
Now she's perusing the Dutchman's wares, to get it all glow-wired out, and tricked out, and such...
Plus rewatching all of Shug's videos.
    fun, fun...
    Hurry up, April!

Hi all. I'm new to the forum, new to hanging, and new to this event, so I apologize if this is a silly question - but, are non-hangers welcome as well? My partner tents while we backpack. Although she always brings a hammock when we car camp to nap in during the day, she prefers to sleep in the tent. Just curious. Thanks!

I don't see why not, there were a few tents last spring...

    Always welcome.

There are always a few and some families w/ kids prefer the tents for privacy and corralling the young ones. That said, don't be surprised if some of our more evangelical members try to covert her to an elevated perspective full time.
